PPM Announces New Initiative to Support Youth Combine

Gainesville, Fla. – Gainesville-based solar contracting firm, Power Production Management (PPM), is proud to announce a new initiative to invest in youth with every investment in solar.

With their new Solar Youth Initiative, PPM will donate money from every solar photovoltaic (PV) system they complete to Youth Combine, a non-profit youth health and wellness organization based in Gainesville, Florida. Each donation will sponsor a child for 1.5 months of activities with Youth Combine.

Jason Gonos, Co-Founder of PPM, says he was interested to find a worthy cause to donate to from the success of his solar contracting firm. He says that many companies were planting trees in far off places like Africa and thought, “wouldn’t it be better to invest back into the local community by helping children instead?”

Jason said they chose Youth Combine as their partner because they share Youth Combine’s belief in investing in the future by investing in youth. “We’ve watched Matthew Howland build Youth Combine from the ground up for the last four years, doubling in size every year.”

Jason added they were especially excited to support a bootstrap startup that has flourished in the Gainesville startup scene, much how Power Production Management has for the last seven years.

Power Production Management hopes its investment commitment will help Youth Combine achieve its mission to provide effective health and wellness programming to all youth. They challenge other businesses to step up with their own pledges of support for Youth Combine.

Some notable Gainesville clients PPM has worked with include the Continuum, the Seagle Building, Precision Glass and Storefront, Scherer Construction, and Westside Baptist Church.
