This role requires exceptional communication skills, sales acumen, and technical knowledge of solar energy systems. Responsibilities

  • Successfully develop relationships with residential and commercial customers to educate them on our products and service and fulfill their needs
  • Site visits and evaluations, if applicable
  • Analysis and understanding of utility billing and rate structures
  • Creating proposals and delivering presentations
  • Work with the marketing team to help fine-tune campaigns
  • Continually learn and develop within the industry to offer the freshest information to our customers
  • Be 100% accurate and honest with what you tell our customers, i.e. no “fudging” the numbers or capabilities of solar

 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record integrity
  • 3 years experience in commercial solar sales with a proven track record of successful implementation of sales goals
  • Experience in commercial solar sales is required
  • Lead generation ability and self-gen lead skills are a must
  • Strong understanding of performance modeling and financing, experience in the solar market preferred
  • College education a plus but not required
  • Persistent positive mental attitude and strong desire to continue learning
  • Strong references from multiple sources
  • Self-starter that requires minimal oversight with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of CRM platforms and how to track performance
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.

 

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $75,000- $200,000/year. The base salary is based on experience, with a team-based sales commission added. This position is full-time (40 hours a week) and on-site in our Gainesville office. Compensation will be reassessed based on performance after the first 90 days.
