Typical Installation Timeline
While the installation of your solar system is a very exciting and important process, it takes time to do it right! Please know that your project is important to us and is being worked on, even if we don’t actively reach out with updates frequently. And, of course, feel free to reach out with any questions you may have – anytime.

1. Final agreements signed and loan approved
Congrats, you’re in!
2. Complete Site Survey
Schedule it quickly to keep your project on track.
3. Produce a 3D model
We confirm the final layout and interconnection, so you can see what your project will look like.
4. Prepare permit set for submittal
We assemble the complete permit package.
5. Receive permit
Now we are ready to install!
6. Solar installation
Typically 1-2 days, longer on more complex projects.
7. Final inspection
Often includes more than one inspection (building, attachment, structural, electrical, solar).
8. Interconnection
Your utility connects the system to the grid. The utility sets this timing, not PPM Solar.
9. Final walkthrough
We hand over your complete paperwork binder, set up monitoring and answer any questions you have.
