Typical Installation Timeline
While the installation of your solar system is a very exciting and important process, it takes time to do it right! Please know that your project is important to us and is being worked on, even if we don’t actively reach out with updates on a frequent basis. And, of course, feel free to reach out with any questions you may have – anytime.

1. Final Agreements signed and loan approved
Congrats, you’re in!
2. Complete Site Survey
Schedule quickly – otherwise your project will be delayed!
3. Produce a 3D model
Confirm final layout and interconnection to give you an idea of what your project will look like
4. Prepare permit set for submittal
Put together all the info.
5. Receive permit
Now we are ready to install!
6. Solar installation
Typically 1-2 days, longer on more complex projects.
7. Final inspection
Often includes more than 1 inspection (building, attachment, structural, electrical solar). Here PPM job complete
8. Interconnection
Outside of our control, utility is not a part of PPM Solar.
9. Final walkthrough
Complete binder of paperwork, monitor set up, and answer any questions the client may have.
