We are expanding our service and installation division and seeking a highly skilled and reliable Solar Installation Technician to join our growing team. This is a long-term career opportunity with clear pathways for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation and service work for residential solar PV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair solar arrays, inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
  • Conduct quality control (QC) inspections on completed installations.
  • Manage RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and equipment replacements.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, project managers, and office staff.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and electrical codes.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in excellent condition.

 

Requirements

Experience:

  • 3+ years of residential solar installation or service experience (required).
  • Experience with Tesla, SolarEdge, Enphase, SMA, and DC circuits (required).

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Electrical knowledge at Journeyman level (required).
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems and AC/DC wiring.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required).
  • OSHA-10, NABCEP, forklift, or lift certifications (preferred).

Other Requirements:

  • Clear background check and ability to pass a drug test.
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors; able to lift 60–75 lbs.
  • Highly reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Excellent communication skills and route management ability.

Schedule & Travel

Monday–Friday (occasional weekends as needed).

Regional travel up to 25%.

Must be able to commute reliably or relocate before starting work.

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week
